Education

Dr. Patterson, a native San Antonian, was an honor student, athlete, and 2000 graduate of Clark High School. Dr. Patterson played college baseball for two years at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, before transferring to the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he graduated with honors with a degree in Biology. Dr. Patterson’s professional medical education began at the Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, graduating in June of 2009. He completed a prestigious three-year residency in Foot & Ankle surgery at John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas, a Level 1 Trauma Center. During his residency, Dr. Patterson performed over 1,700 foot and ankle surgeries, including all variations of foot and ankle trauma and reconstruction allowing him to be well-versed in the newest, most innovative procedures as well as traditional techniques of foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Patterson, a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, has been in private practice since 2012, and is credentialed at Baptist, Christus, and Methodist facilities.
