Dr Jerry Patterson

Dr. Jerry Patterson is a podiatry specialist in San Antonio, TX and has over 51 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from California School of Podiatric Medicine in 1972. He is accepting new patients.

Education

Dr. Patterson, a native Texan, was born in the small town of Seymour.
Dr. Patterson earned a BS in Biology & English from Wayland Baptist College in Plainview, TX. He then moved to San Francisco, CA where he completed Podiatry school at the CCPM. Dr. Patterson then completed his podiatric residency at the UTHSC in San Antonio.

After residency, Dr. Patterson chose to make San Antonio his home, starting his practice in the medical center. Throughout his practice, Dr. Patterson has been a continuous member of the TPMA, holding offi ce as the Regional director. In 1978, Gov. Briscoe appointed
Dr. Patterson to the State Board of Podiatry Examiners, a position he held for 11 years, serving as President for 7 years. Dr. Patterson has also been a Diplomate of the ABPS since 1983. He is a fellow of the ACFAS, and a current member of the APMA and the Bexar County Podiatric Medical Society. Jerry is a member of the American Board of Foot
and Ankle Surgeons. He currently holds an appointment as a clinical associate professor with the Podiatry Residency at the UTHSC in San Antonio.

Dr. Patterson has a diverse practice, specializing in all areas of surgical and medical treatment of the foot. His practice includes
all types of reconstructive foot surgery, sports medicine, and routine foot care. He has an extensive lower extremity biomechanics background and prescribes custom-made orthotics when necessary.
